Dhaka, April 21, 2025 — The Department of Architecture at North South University is proud to announce the inauguration of the 16th Architectural Exhibition 2025, an academic showcase organized by students of Level 1, Term 1. The exhibition will run from April 22 to April 25, and will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the university’s Exhibition Hall.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Abdur Rob Khan, Treasurer and Pro-Vice Chancellor (in-charge). Also present at the opening ceremony were Dr. Ahmed Tazmeen (Registrar, NSU), Dr. Abdul Khaleque (Proctor, NSU), and Mushtaque Habib, Project Director, NSU. The event was hosted by Prof. Dr. Shazzad Hosain, Dean of SEPS, and Ar. This year’s exhibition features a curated selection of student projects from the ARC 111 course, showcasing early academic explorations, conceptual development, and creative interpretations in the field of architecture. The displayed works reflect the intellectual curiosity, analytical thinking, and evolving design sensibilities of first-year architecture students.
Speaking on the occasion, a faculty representative noted, “This exhibition is a testament to the foundational design skills and creative potential of our students. It not only celebrates their accomplishments but also reaffirms the university’s dedication to cultivating architectural excellence from the outset of their academic journey.”
The exhibition is open to professionals, educators, students, and architecture enthusiasts from both the academic and professional communities. All are cordially invited to visit during exhibition hours and engage with the creative works of North South University’s youngest generation of designers.
