When Will Ramadan 2025 Begin in Bangladesh? UAE Confirms Its Start Date. The holy month of Ramadan may begin on February 19 (Thursday), the United Arab Emirates Astronomical Organization has said. According to the organization’s preliminary calculations, we are now 139 days away from the month of Ramadan. Accordingly, fasting in Bangladesh may begin on February 20 (Friday).
The organization’s chairman, Ibrahim Al Jarwan, said that the start of the month of Ramadan will depend on the sighting of the new moon. The new moon will rise at 4:01 pm Abu Dhabi time on February 17 (Tuesday). However, as the moon will set just one minute after sunset, it will not be possible to see the moon that evening. Therefore, according to the official announcement of the moon-sighting committee, the first day of Ramadan will be February 19.
In Abu Dhabi, the length of the fast at the beginning of Ramadan will be about 12 hours and 46 minutes, later increasing to 13 hours and 25 minutes at the end of the month. The daylight will be 11 hours and 32 minutes at the beginning and will gradually increase to 12 hours and 12 minutes.
According to the weather forecast, the temperature in Abu Dhabi at the beginning of the month will be between 16 and 28 degrees Celsius. By the end, it may increase to 19 and 32 degrees Celsius. This change will be due to the northern winter winds and the spring westerly winds that begin towards the end of Ramadan.
The weather forecast also says that there is a possibility of rain throughout the month of Ramadan and that the amount of rain during this period may exceed 15 millimeters, which is considered to be in line with the seasonal average rainfall for the region.
