Dhaka Central University (proposed) is going to start admission process for undergraduate programs in the 2024-25 academic year from August 3 and will continue till August 10.
This information was given in a notification signed by Dhaka Central University Administrator Professor AKM Elias.
The notification said that with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Dhaka Central University (proposed) is going to start admission process for undergraduate programs in the 2024-25 academic year. Admissions will be taken in the Arts and Social Sciences, Science and Business Education units of this university, which is under implementation, according to the existing academic structure.
Admission application will start on August 3, 2025 from 12 noon and will continue till August 10, 11:59 pm. Applications must be made on the website https://collegeadmission.eis.du.ac.bd. The application fee has been set at 800 taka, which can be paid through state-owned banks or mobile financial services, the notification said.
The notification further states that students who have passed SSC/equivalent exams between 2019 and 2022 and HSC/equivalent exams in 2023 or 2024 can apply. However, those who have already applied to the seven colleges affiliated to Dhaka University do not need to apply again. If the application is withdrawn, the money will be refunded.
The notification states that the exams for the Arts and Social Sciences Unit will be held on Friday, August 22, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, for the Science Unit on Saturday, August 23, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, for the Business Education Unit on Saturday, August 23, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
In addition, it was informed that the download of the admit card will start from August 17 and the seat allocation will be published from August 20.
