Meeting held on DUCSU voting process and security issues. A 22-member advisory committee has been formed at Dhaka University for the Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) and Hall Parliament elections. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan approved the committee. The first meeting of the advisors with the university administration and returning officers was held in the Vice-Chancellor’s meeting room on Tuesday (July 1).
The meeting discussed various issues, including the overall preparation for the election, the voting process, security measures, and ensuring an electoral environment. The participating advisors provided various suggestions for organizing a fair, participatory and acceptable election.

It is to be noted that the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Professor Dr. Mohammad Siddiqur Rahman Khan will serve as the convener in the advisory committee formed for the DUCSU and Hall Parliament Elections 2025. Proctor Associate Professor Saifuddin Ahmed will serve as the member-secretary of the advisory committee.
