National University’s ‘July Shahid Smriti Scholarship‘ Application Started. Applications for ‘July Shahid Smriti Scholarship-2025’ have started for regular students studying at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in colleges affiliated to the National University. This scholarship is mainly allocated for special needs, financially insolvent and meritorious students. Applications must be made through the college by accessing the designated website. The application form along with the necessary documents must be uploaded by September 30.
Only students of specific categories can apply for this scholarship according to the academic year. Graduate (Pass) 2nd year students must be from the academic year 2021-22 and 2022-23, 3rd year students must be from the academic year 2020-21. Graduate (Honours) students studying in the 2nd year 2022-23, 3rd year 2021-22 and 4th year 2020-21 academic year (based on the results of the 3rd year) can apply. Students of the academic year 2020-21 at the Masters Preliminary level and 2022-23 at the Postgraduate level (based on the results of the Honours) can apply.
A specified number of students can be recommended from each college. If the total number of students is 1 to 500, a maximum of 2 people, if 501 to 5 thousand, 5 people and if more than 5 thousand 1 people, a maximum of 10 people can be recommended for the scholarship. However, this limit is not applicable to students with special needs.
To apply, students have to go to the website http://collegeportal.nu.ac.bd and enter the ‘College Login’ option. Then click on the ‘Scholarship Information’ link and fill in the required information and upload the documents.
