Chatting can be done even if you don’t have the WhatsApp app on your phone. WhatsApp, one of the world’s most popular messaging platforms, is currently the daily means of communication for billions of people. On average, more than 100 billion messages are exchanged on the platform every day. Of these, about 700 million photos are shared and more than 100 million videos. WhatsApp is regularly bringing new updates. Now you can chat on the platform without an account. You can chat with this feature even if the app is not installed.
This platform, owned by Meta, is going to launch the ‘Guest Chat’ feature soon. According to the Webtinefor report, the feature is already being prepared in Android Beta version 2.25.22.13. It is expected that it will be opened to everyone in the next few weeks.
With this feature, WhatsApp users can send a link to someone who does not use the app. By entering that link, they can chat directly through a web browser. For this, there is no need to download the app or create a separate account.
The biggest advantage is that this chat will also be end-to-end encrypted. Just like in chats through the WhatsApp app. That is, the chat will be safe without the app and there is nothing to worry about the privacy of the users.
However, there are some limitations. In this link-based chat, pictures, videos, gifs cannot be sent. In addition, there will be no opportunity to send voice or video messages. WhatsApp call or group chat facilities cannot be used. That is, only text messages can be exchanged.
