Chittagong University appoints new proctor. Professor of the Marketing Department of Chittagong University (CU) Dr. Hossain Shahid Sarwardy has been appointed as the new proctor. This information was revealed in an office notice signed by the Acting Registrar of Chittagong University, Professor Dr. Mohammad Saiful Islam, on Sunday (September 21).
It said that Professor of the Marketing Department of Chittagong University, Dr. Hossain Shahid Sarwardy, has been appointed as the proctor for one year with allowances and other benefits as per the rules of the university. This order will come into effect from September 23.
Meanwhile, in another notice, the current proctor of the university, Professor Dr. Tanvir Mohammad Haider Arif, has been appointed as the head of the Research Management and Publication Department. Earlier, on September 22 last year, in a statement signed by the then Acting Registrar of the university, KM Noor Ahmed, Professor Dr. Tanvir Mohammad Haider Arif was appointed as proctor for a one-year term. His term will end tomorrow, Monday.
