NSU hosts workshop on ‘Burnout Management: Work-Life Balance’ for teachers. A workshop on ‘Burnout Management: Work-Life Balance’ was held for teachers of North South University (NSU). The workshop was organized at the university’s Syndicate Hall on Tuesday (August 12).
The main objective of the workshop was to enhance the mental health and overall well-being of the university’s teaching staff. It discussed and demonstrated various strategies for self-care and coping with stress.
In his opening remarks, Professor Halimur R. Khan, Director, Institutional Quality Assurance, shed light on an often overlooked important issue of the mental needs of university teachers. He stressed the need for an effective wellness program to boost the morale of teachers.
In his closing remarks, NSU Vice-Chancellor Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury highlighted the importance of good health and proper balance to ensure long-term productivity. He mentioned the various steps taken by the university to enhance the welfare of teachers and expressed his strong commitment to continue such initiatives.
More than 30 teachers from different departments participated in the workshop. The workshop concluded with a lively question and answer session. The participants acknowledged the importance of the program and appreciated it.
