Islamic Foundation Corner to be launched at Islamic University. The Islamic Foundation Corner is being launched for the first time among the country’s public universities at the Islamic University (IB). This information was confirmed by Islamic Foundation Director General A. Salam Khan after visiting the university’s central library on Wednesday (July 2) afternoon.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Naqib Mohammad Nasrullah and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. M. Eyakub Ali, along with deans of various faculties, department chairs and teachers and officials, were present during the visit to the university’s central library.
It is learned that the Islamic Foundation has taken the initiative to launch Islamic Foundation Corners in all government universities in the country. As part of this, the Director General of the Foundation inspected the space for an ‘Islamic Foundation Corner’ in the central library of the Islamic University for the first time. It will house various Islamic publications, books and research papers published by the organization.
During the visit, Director General A. Salam Khan said, ‘The purpose of today’s visit is to establish an Islamic Foundation corner at the Islamic University, where various books published by the Islamic Foundation will be displayed. Through these books, students will be able to acquire Islamic knowledge. In addition, if someone wants to publish a new book and finds it publishable; the Islamic Foundation will publish it with its own funding.’
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Naqib Mohammad Nasrullah said, ‘Earlier, I went to a program of the Islamic Foundation. I gave advice on various issues there. The Islamic University and the Islamic Foundation have already worked together a lot. Today’s visit is mainly to establish an Islamic Foundation corner. Various Islamic books will be displayed in this library, built with the funding of the Islamic Foundation, so that students can gain knowledge.’
